Things to Do in Essex County
Over the course of my Aunt Peggy’s birthday week-end, my relatives from out of town wanted to explore what our beautiful region has to offer. So I composed a list for them:
Allyson & Greg wanted to go on a EPIC wine tour. So they Explored the Shore on the W.E. Trolley and rented bikes from Farm Dog Cycles to explore the North Shore Trail with Windsor Eats.
After strolling around Find Your Green, Aunt Peggy heard about Blimey’s British Gift Store in Harrow. While driving by The Old Mill (original farmer’s co-op) I explained to her that they have art and yoga workshops, as well, it’s a beautiful place to have engagement, wedding, or family photos done.
The kids took to the Chrysler Greenway Trail while some of the others had a picnic at the Colchester Beach and an ice cream at Beachside Eats & Treats.
The guys enjoyed a round a golf at Oxley Golf Course and are looking forward to Lonsbery Farms Brewing Company opening soon.
Everyone loved the Kingsville farmer’s market as well as the Fruit Wagon’s plethora of fresh fruits & veggies, culinary herbs and beautiful gladioli.
Dinner at Harrow’s Dock 21 Restaurant was amazing and the atmosphere and service was fantastic.
My Eastern Ontario relatives all look forward to the many events throughout the summer months and plan to return and stay at Mobile Suites by Heaton for the most unique mobile glamping experience in the Essex County Region.
